donatella d’aquino was born in naples, italy, the country of the culture, fashion & food.

after going to the art school, she was starting to work as
fashion designer for a few european clothing companies in naples, milan, spain.

in 1995 she moved to hawaii where she continued as fashion designer, but this time for her own company “donatella d’aquino design”.
she was inspired and impressed by the beautiful flowers and colors of the hawaiian islands; then she start a line of bags and other products with hawaiian fabrics to spread around the world the warmest feeling of… aloha…!

she begin to sell to a lot of shops in maui, hawaii, where the tourists appreciate the beautiful colors contrast, and the particularity of the handcrafted products <made in hawaii>

so it was time to distribute the line in europe, italy to bring hawaiian lifestyle, design and culture in a different country giving the possibility to the people to dream about hawaii.
